Take a look at a selection of our recent kitchen & bath projects, planned and implemented with care and designed to make an impact.
The vinyl-clad, particle board cabinets the homeowner inherited had lived a full life. Peeling vinyl and failed hinges now dominated this otherwise lovely and functional kitchen. New custom hardwood cabinets from Norfolk Kitchen and Bath were purchased and installed (with some minor layout changes). At the homeowner's request, we removed and re-installed the existing countertop to retain the desired aesthetic.

A large peninsula in an open kitchen/dining room provided some useful storage but mostly inhibited traffic flow in this busy, multi-generational summer home. By removing the peninsula and installing custom hardwood "pantry" cabinets (uppers and lowers) from Norfolk Kitchen and Bath, we quadrupled the available storage space, doubled the amount of counterspace, and nearly doubled the width of the passageway between the kitchen and the dining area.
Matching upper and lower cabinets, also from NKB, were added in the corner of the dining area to replace a small freestanding drawer unit.
After adding new pantry cabinets (not shown here), a new quartz countertop and backsplash from Boston Fabrication was installed throughout, accompanied by a new deep-well sink, a high arc Moen faucet, and a countertop disposal switch.
To the new owners of the bright, spacious townhouse condo, their new home was lacking nothing ... except a kitchen island they could use for added storage and an eating counter to sit and enjoy their morning coffee. The solution was custom hardwood cabinets from Norfolk Kitchen and Bath, perfectly matched to their existing cabinets, fashioned into roomy island. A quartz countertop with 10" overhang provides a comfortable complement to their sunny kitchen. (Shown with temporary countertop while awaiting quartz.)
The magic of a new vanity top and fixtures. Sometimes, a picture is worth 1,000 words. See for yourself.
This circa early-60's bathroom has served its time. The half-height tile walls had been painted over, peeled and repainted, the tile floor was no longer attractive, and the vanity and sink were in disrepair. Once a new hardwood vanity and marble vanity top were purchased from Floor & Decor, the real work began. The old tile walls were torn out to the studs and replaced with new insulation and sheetrock. A new ceramic tile floor was installed, sealed and finished with new baseboard trim. The new vanity, plumbing and radiator cover were installed. Finally, the room was painted in the homeowner's favorite color with moisture-resistant Benjamin Moore Kitchen & Bath paint.
Fully utilizing this home's spacious, bright walk-out basement required the addition of a half-bathroom. A compact vanity maximizes space, while the extension of the luxury vinyl flooring from the adjacent Rec Room keeps cleaning and maintenance to a minimum.

An old, painted-over tub and faulty plumbing were replaced by a new 1-piece shower unit and all new plumbing! Just waiting for the painter when this photo was taken.
Wood wainscoting and a new wall color and window treatment brought life to a favorite waterscape painted by the homeowner's mother.
